These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of services provided by Speech Time Fun, Inc. at speechtimefunpd.com, including professional-development courses, resources, memberships, live events, replay access, certificates, and related support.

1. Acceptance and changes

By accessing or purchasing our services, you agree to these terms and any product-specific terms shown at checkout or on the relevant event page. We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or applicable law.

2. Accounts and accurate information

You are responsible for providing accurate registration, billing, and attendee information, keeping login details secure, and notifying us through our contact form if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Use of services

Our services are intended for lawful professional-development use. You must not copy, resell, share, scrape, disrupt, or misuse our materials, platforms, certificates, or event systems.

4. Orders, pricing, and payment

Prices are shown in United States dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise. Taxes, purchase-order processing, payment timing, and access conditions may vary by product or event.

5. Intellectual property

Course materials, event recordings, downloads, templates, graphics, trademarks, and other content are owned by Speech Time Fun, Inc. or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-transferable licence to use purchased materials for your own professional use.

6. Refunds and statutory cancellation rights

Refund terms may differ by product and are presented at the point of purchase. Speech Retreat refund terms currently provide a full refund up to 6 weeks before the event, a 75% refund up to one week before the event, and no last-minute or week-of cancellation refunds. SLP Elevate currently includes a 30-day risk-free refund offer where stated on the membership page. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

7. Event changes and access

We may make reasonable changes to event schedules, speakers, replay availability, certificate processes, or platform access where needed. We will use reasonable efforts to communicate material changes.

8. Third-party services

Our services may rely on third-party platforms for hosting, payments, analytics, event access, forms, communications, or security. Your use of those services may also be subject to their terms and privacy notices.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached, payment is unpaid, access is being misused, or action is needed to protect our services or users.

10. Disclaimers

Our services are provided for professional education and informational purposes. We do not guarantee specific student, clinical, professional, commercial, or financial outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable United States law, services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties not expressly stated.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Speech Time Fun, Inc. and its directors, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity. Our aggregate liability for a claim is limited to the greater of the amount paid for the service giving rise to the claim in the six months before the claim or $100 USD, except where applicable law does not permit that limitation.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Privacy and data-rights requests should be submitted through our privacy request form.

13. Acceptable use

Our Acceptable Use Policy applies to your use of our website, courses, resources, event platforms, and related communities.

14. Accessibility

We aim to make our digital services accessible and welcome accessibility feedback through our contact form.

If you believe content on our services infringes copyright, submit a notice through our contact form with enough information for us to identify the work, the allegedly infringing material, and your authority to act.

16. Dispute resolution and governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The parties will first attempt to resolve disputes informally for at least 30 days after written notice. Where informal resolution is not possible, disputes will be handled by courts or other forums with competent jurisdiction under applicable U.S. law, unless product-specific terms require another lawful process.

17. Modern slavery and ethical compliance

Speech Time Fun, Inc. does not tolerate forced labour, child labour, human trafficking, bribery, or corruption in its operations. We expect suppliers and service providers to comply with applicable U.S. labour, anti-trafficking, anti-bribery, and anti-corruption laws.
